Brilliant Dry Carpet Care is family owned and operated, working in and around Columbus since 2015. Everything about how we clean, from the compound we use to the hours we keep, follows from one choice we made early on: we clean dry, not with hot water forced into the backing.
Why dry
Most carpet cleaners are really hot water cleaners.
Steam cleaning pushes hot water and detergent down into the pile and the backing, then tries to pull most of it back out. What it cannot pull back sits in the pad, and that is where the long drying wait, the wicking, and the fast re-soiling all come from. We decided not to build the business around that tradeoff.
Instead, we spread a HOST cleaning compound over the carpet and work it down into the pile with counter rotating brushes. The compound holds the soil the way a sponge holds water, and then it gets vacuumed straight back out, soil and all. Nothing ever soaks the backing or the pad.

Green Seal certified products
The compound and the rest of our green line are Green Seal certified, biodegradable and non toxic. That is a certification on what we clean with, not a claim about the business itself, and we would rather be exact about that than vague about it.
What it costs us to work this way
Dry cleaning takes more attention per room than pointing a wand at the floor. We think that is the right trade for a family business with its name on the van.

Getting on the schedule
What booking with us actually looks like
Open every day
Open every day, 9am to 8pm. We do not close for the weekend, because carpet emergencies do not know what day it is.
Free phone estimates
Residential estimates are free and usually same day. Tell us the rooms and the floor and we will give you a number on the phone.
Insurance
We work with all major insurance companies, for the jobs that come through a claim rather than a regular booking.
Payment
American Express, cash, check, Discover, MasterCard, Visa or Zelle. New customers get 50 dollars off a first service; seniors and military get 10 percent off. Restrictions apply, ask when you book.
