Low toxicity

Green carpet cleaning for a home where kids and pets are on the floor all day

Green Seal certified products, biodegradable and non toxic, paired with a dry method that doesn't leave the carpet damp or the air smelling like a chemical plant.

Chapter 01

What 'green' actually means here

Our green line uses Green Seal certified products. That's a certification on the products themselves, tested and verified against an outside standard, not just a label we've put on our own cleaning solution. Green Seal certified means biodegradable and non toxic, so what goes into your carpet breaks down and doesn't sit there as a lingering chemical.

We're specific about that distinction because it's an easy thing to overstate. It's the cleaning products that carry the certification, and we're glad to use them on any job where it matters to you, at no extra runaround.

Who actually asks for this, and why

The households that ask for the green line tend to have one thing in common, someone spending a lot of time face down on the carpet. A crawling baby, a toddler who still puts hands and toys in their mouth, a dog or cat that's on the floor all day rather than the furniture.

The other group is people who just react badly to the smell of a standard cleaning job, the kind of chemical smell that lingers in a room for a day or two after a carpet gets cleaned. If strong fragrance or fumes are a problem in your house, the green line is built around not leaving that behind.

Chapter 03

Why a dry method is lower impact to begin with

Even before you get to which products we use, the method itself matters. A dry clean uses far less water than steam or hot water extraction, because we're not soaking the carpet to force soil out, we're working a cleaning compound into the pile and vacuuming it back out along with the dirt it's holding.

That means nothing gets left damp in the carpet backing, which is where trapped moisture from a wet clean tends to sit for days. And because there's no wet carpet to dry, there's no need to run fans or a dehumidifier in the room for a day afterward. Less water in, nothing left behind, less machinery running after we're gone.
